Astra Epsilon
Book 3: Hunted
A Space LitRPG
With all other claims to the Stradivarius nullified, and all command requirements met, Orion has somehow found himself captain of a starship. He’s assigned his brother Syzygy the role of First Mate and recruited Echo, Galek, and Arcana to fill the other officer positions, but now the team must navigate the daunting task of actually managing a spaceship—something none of them are exceptionally well equipped to pull off. Galek works to turn a crew full of nannies, asteroid miners, and garbage men into a passable security force, Echo is trying to stock a serviceable med bay—without using all the drugs herself—and Arcana is busy doing… well, no one’s really sure, but it involves a lot of reading.
While the team hastily attempts to bring order to the Stradivarius, acquire more supplies, and push for Echelon 2, the gnoll Apprentice Shaman Kas-Rin Witchmane makes moves of her own. The Empress has demanded that Kas-Rin hunt down the soulforged android so that he may die a long, slow, painful death. Though the Apprentice Shaman’s mission is life or death—for both herself and her quarry—she still works to further her own schemes, especially her designs for a certain dark-haired Time Magic user.

QUEST UPDATE: REUNITE THE TEAM - CURRENT STATUS: COMPLETE
After finally reuniting on the Orchard Fortress, it seemed like the team would make a clean getaway… until a magical glimpse into the future revealed their horrible—and imminent—demise. At least they finished their first quest, right?
Even if they somehow escape their impending doom in the next thirty seconds and make it back to the Stradivarius, their troubles are far from over. The soulforged vessel is a floating warzone. In addition to all the normal dangers that space travel poses, the derelict ship is packed with fromlirs. Hordes of the tiny lizardmen stalk the halls, led by a mech-suit capable of ripping through metal like tissue paper.
Orion wrestles with his own self-doubt—made all the worse by torrents of verbal abuse from a snarky AI. Arcana, still intent on becoming the greatest caster in the universe, wants nothing more than to leave the team behind, and after her actions during the escape Galek is inclined to let her. Echo needs new spells to round out her healing repertoire—and new drugs to try. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Syzygy still hasn’t found shoes.

Book 1: Ascension
A Space LitRPG
Do you want to avoid perishing in a hail of asteroids? Us too. That’s why we created Astra Epsilon: the perfect escape for your mind, even though your body is about to be destroyed.
As the end of the world rapidly approaches—both figuratively and literally—Astra Epsilon seems to be the last hope humanity has of sidestepping that awkward thing called death. With only a few weeks to spare, two brothers and a trio of roommates arrive at the local Ascension Port, intent on uploading their minds into the game—rather than waiting idly for their inevitable doom. The two groups find themselves joined together by random chance to make the obligate team of five. They Ascend, leaving their Earthly bodies behind. As they awaken, now scattered across a random solar system in their new universe, they begin their first quest: to reunite. However, that task is made significantly harder by the hostile alien race that controls the system in which they spawn. Beginning at level 1, with equipment that’s more a liability than a help, no knowledge of their new universe’s mechanics, and a Class of Worthless Scrub, can the teammates fight their way toward each other to complete their first quest? Or will it be their last?
